Swimming in a canal type thing w I think Rory and another woman idk who. We’re looking for something. We turn down another canal almost like a road system but streets made of water. Lots of other people swimming too. Rory is reminding us we’ve been in this water before for fun. It looks different to me but I remember what he’s talking about and it’s actually another dream I had a while ago where we were on floats in the water but it was more open water and not like a canal. Suddenly It got dark but there were a lot of other ppl. It was so dark like no light. The other woman and I felt someone poke us like stick us w something, attach something to us. It was creepy. Like a tracking device or some little weird thing. It was put on my back on the right below my shoulder blade. We couldn’t see anything it was completely dark.
Dreams about swimming often symbolize emotions, exploration, and the subconscious. In your dream, the canal-like structure suggests a unique and perhaps confined space for this emotional journey, and the presence of Rory and the other woman implies companionship or shared experiences in navigating your feelings or situations.
The fact that you are searching for something indicates an inner quest, perhaps a desire for clarity or understanding of a particular aspect of your life. Rory’s reminder of previous experiences in the water indicates nostalgia and perhaps hints that these emotional experiences are cyclical or relate to past memories.
The transition from an open water setting to a canal-like structure may symbolize a shift from freedom to feeling more confined or restricted in your emotional expression. The darkness that envelops you signifies uncertainty or fear, and the absence of light can represent a lack of clarity in your current situation or feelings.
The sensation of being poked or attached to by something unknown adds a layer of anxiety or discomfort. This could represent feelings of vulnerability or intrusion in your life, perhaps suggesting that there are external influences or pressures affecting your sense of autonomy. Being unable to see what is happening in the dark may highlight feelings of unawareness or fear of the unknown in your waking life.
Overall, your dream could indicate that you are navigating emotional waters while seeking clarity and feeling a mixture of nostalgia and anxiety. Consider what in your life may be exerting pressure on you or making you feel vulnerable, and reflect on your current relationships and experiences as you search for understanding and control.
